SPICY PRAWNS WITH COCONUT











INGREDIENTS

Prawns - 250 gms

Onions - 2 Nos

Red Chilly powder - 1tsp

Turmeric Powder - ¼ tsp

Coriander powder - 1-1/2 tsp

Cumin powder - ½ tsp

Black pepper powder - ½ tsp

Garam Masala powder - ½ tsp

Small bits of coconut - 2 tbsp

Ginger Garlic paste - ¾ tsp

Curry leaves - Few

Lemon - 1 No.

Oil - as required

Salt - to taste

Coriander leaves - Few

METHOD

1. Clean the prawns

2. Heat oil and fry curry leaves and coconut bits and keep separately.

3. In the same oil, add finely chopped onions and fry until light brown.

4. Add Ginger garlic paste, sauté for 2 minutes, add the prawns, add half of the fried curry leaves and coconut bits and stir well.

5. Add all other masala powders and salt to taste, and fry until dry.

6. Lastly add the remaining fried curry leaves and coconut bits and juice of lemon.

7. Before serving, garnish it with few coriander leaves
